Sooooo, here are 20 things you might want to know about me. Or you might not. Read at your own risk. But to warn you.........I'm pretty much a weirdo. Enjoy.
1. Lets just get the obvious out of the way okay. Yes, my very favorite color is p.i.n.k. can't help it, my favorite place to pig-out is P.F. Changs, my favorite starbucks is a Cinnamon Dolce Frappicino, my favorite movie is Footloose. Okay there are the basics.
2. I secretly crave to be a well-known Interior Designer. I am very indecisive and insecure with all my decisions that involve design so this is probably a huge dream but hey, I dream big. I often read articles and place myself in the designers position and answer the questions out loud like I'm being interviewed when nobody's watching. scary.
3. My junior year of college I became the President of The College of Human Environmental Sciences and the Vice President of my sorority ZTA all in the same month and thought I was the coolest person to walk the stinkin planet.
4. I believe I am married to a genius. I really think Jared is one of the smartest people on the planet. He strives to be smart. If he doesn't know something, he will read about it until he is blue in the face. If I don't know something, I don't care.
5. I secretly want one of my kids to be the Validictorian of their Highschool one day. (Which is not a far stretch if at least one of them gets Jareds brains.)
6. I am a picture freak. Give me a great shot of my family or kids and I am one giddy girl.
7. I cry A.L.O.T. (probably every other day) and not really hard cries but nearly anything will set me off, a commercial, thinking of my kids, thinking of my blessings, thinking of Jesus, well you get the point.
8. I twirl my hair at night in bed. Drives Jared nuts.
9. My favorite t.v. shows are American Pickers and Hoarders on A&E, and Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern on the Travel Channel. Will not miss an episode of any.
10. I have a major fetish for lamps. All my lamps must be funky though. A plain brown lamp with a plain white shade makes me want to pull my hair out. Where's the style???!!!
11. I am currently using Crest Whitening Strips and truly believe my teeth are becoming whiter. Please don't tell me any different. Jared thought they were a waste of money.
12. I am the most insecure person on the planet over my looks. (therefore, #11)
13. I still to this day sit in my dad's lap. I can't help it sometimes I just need my dad. He is a great shoulder to cry on and someone I lean on everyday. On really special occasions he will call me and say, "You want to go to the dollar tree, I'm buying?" I just find this hilarious. He loves to "splurge" on me!! haha! I love you dad, I know you read your favorite daughters blog.
14. I believe everyone related to me spoils me rotten. My parents, Jared's parents, our Aunts and uncles, and of course my grandmother who just passed in January was the worst. I don't know what it is. Apparently I just look like a cripple who needs help. Although not complaining. I am so thankful.
15. I am constantly thinking of ways I can rearrange my house. Constantly.
16. I think the most kissable place on my kids and my husband is their temples. I know weird. Its just my favorite spot to give a big kiss.
17. I consider myself a survivor. Everyday I think, "okay Jesus, thank you for giving me another day".
18. I crave a 3rd child. I have gone so far to even name the child that I don't know if we will have (Jared's approval, of course), if we have a girl it will be Sage Ashton, if a boy it will be Jagger Michael.
19. I can NEVER say no and constantly volunteer myself for things even if I don't want to do it. I once saw a memo pad that said at the top "Stop me before I volunteer" and thought, totally me. Bad qualities.
20. I love being a girl and everything that comes with it. I love wearing my high heels with jeans and t-shirt (although this rarely happens anymore since I chase 2 kids around), I love jewelry, I love fashion (again although I rarely dress the part), if there is a mirror nearby I'm going to look in it, I love a good pedicure, the gaudier the better, I don't cook, I love to go on date nights with just my awesome husband, I have an obsession with hairspray and would permanently spray tan my body if you could actually do that?
Okay, I am weird, this I know.

I could comment on SO MANY of these because they give me great laughs and memories ... but lets go with #20: haha I remember how you would wear a Zeta t-shirt, jeans, high heals and BIG PEARL earrings or bracelets to class --IN COLLEGE!! hahaha That was so funny! Definitely your own fashion-queen! :)
ReplyDeleteOk sorry one more - #8: YOU TOTALLY did this all the time in college - especially if we were all three sitting on the couch and you were trying to get us to open up and tell you how we felt about something. HAHAHA! Maybe thats your way of making us feel comfortable???!! Poor Jared. He must know that when you start twirling your hair, he's about to get a lot of questions.

And I think you're on to something with the hair twirling, bc come to think of it usually I do twirl my hair when I want to talk. So you might would have not seen me do this if you would have just told me what I needed to know!!! I love you and miss our days when we could sit on the couch together with no care in the world!!!
